We hold a sacred space of spiritual nurturance and unity where communal wisdom can thrive.
At the McGregor Wisdom School we use our heritage property as a focus for conferencing that ignites the search for wisdom in the crises of our times; for conversations that initiate new ways of thinking and being together; for community collaborations that support healing and growth in McGregor and beyond. We are a ‘school’ in the sense of being a community of study and practice of communal wisdom in an African context. Diverse spiritual traditions feed our learning, life is our curriculum and creativity is our method. Our goals include:
Sacred Union and Community: We facilitate the sacred union of opposites within humanity, promoting unity and wholeness through collaboration, conferencing, and retreats that reunite fragmented aspects of ourselves and our communities.
Practical Wisdom: We utilise powerful rituals to enable personal and collective transformation. Our aim is to remove obstacles and societal constructs that hinder growth and unity while encouraging practices of wisdom and change with a lens framed by African wisdom. We offer practical tools and techniques to deepen transformation.
Cultivate Communal Wisdom: We nurture communal wisdom and collective inquiry by providing emotional and physical nourishment, fostering an environment where wisdom and collaboration can thrive.
Facilitate Healing: Our objective is to facilitate healing and discussion about sensitive topics such as gender dynamics, African identity, racism, and the abuse of nature’s medicines. By creating paths for open conversation, we aim to raise awareness, promote understanding, and foster healing within individuals and communities.
Honour Inheritance: We reserve and honour our ancient traditions and inherited physical space as a testament to the legacy passed down through generations.
Thought Leadership: We offer thought leadership in African and Celtic spirituality with the ability to draw on collective spiritual healers, teachers and coaches.
We work with various modalities to offer a nurturing and transformational experience.
Harness the collective wisdom and experience available to enhance your offerings within the McGregor Wisdom School spaces or elevate your personal spiritual journey. Our expertise lies in dreamwork, ritual, ceremony, rites, fostering natural connections, African Wisdom, metaphysical transformation, evolution, in-formation, creation, vibration, sound, movement, and the influential power of the word.
Hub for Nurturance

We support NGO initiatives, healing initiatives, transformative programs and creative collaborations for upliftment. We are passionate about programs that focus on Positive Alternative Cultures (PACs give vulnerable youth an attractive alternative to Drug Culture) and youth development.
Spaces for Hire

We provide space for ritual, sacred processes, arts festivals and spiritual retreats that vibrate with our rich African traditions and McGregor context. Our spaces include a hall, classrooms, consultation areas and meditation rooms.
Retreat Centre

We facilitate retreats that support, heal and grow facilitators and guides so that they can continue to uplift, heal and inspire change in others. These include dream workshops, rituals and processes that reclaim African spirituality and promote social change.
Continuous Learning

We offer our own wisdom curriculum in the form of retreats, podcasts, and writings with a lens framed by African wisdom and aimed at communities of healers, educators and visionaries.
